M Tyre Sizes

Apologies for the post as I'm sure it has been asked before, I need to replace my tyres on the MR. After calling Kwik Fit and BMW yesterday I'm told the sizes should be 225/40/18 (front) and 255/35/18 (rear) which isn't my current tyre size.

Before I pull the trigger and order a set, I just wanted to check this is the size commonly worn by other's....

Kwik-Fit have obviously just looked up Z4 and 18”, and not further specified the model/engine.

As TomK says, it’s in your manual, and on the driver’s door jamb...but it’s 225/45r18 and 255/40r18 rear.
 
BMW will also I’ve You the wrong price as will quick fit ,try black circle and a few others online for tyre prices,

Having had the misfortune of dealing with Kwikfit recently I would highly recommend you turn around and never, ever return there.
 
I opted for Tyres On My Drive in the end as I read some good things about them, I also like the idea of them being on my drive so I can keep a watchful eye :D

225/45/18 & 255/40/18 ordered
