talking to a friend of mine who is a police chase driving instructor and police pursuit vehicle evaluator, he told me that the dsc on the m is still partially on even when its off, general concensus of opinion on the forum is that unlike the non m's , when its off its off totally, this is also reitterated in the m handbook. he says it is now illegal for manufacturers to enable dsc to be disabled completely. is he misinformed ? I must say that when i have turned off dsc I still find it hard to unstick the back end,the m diff though allows the car to come alive with dsc off by getting so much more power down, the exceleration out of a corner is dramatically different with dsc off, when its on it just dumps power way too much. any views ?
