Can anyone point me in the right direction for an offside track rod, there's a little bit of play in mine, it's not making a noise but was an advisory on my MOT, Sytner want about £200 which seems a bit steep as it's not the whole thing I need, ie I don't need the track rod end :driving:

Ta

Have a look above, double check the year etc. As I don't know what year yours is ?

I have just fitted Meyle ones to my car they seem great quality. Not sure if the M cars are different? Quite an easy job for a DIY just need some big spanners. And you will need the alignment done tracking at the least.

Hears what I brought http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MEYLE-BMW-3-SERIES-E46-STEERING-TRACK-TIE-ROD-END-ASSEMBLY-LEFT-RIGHT-SIDE-SET-/201114327046?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3ABMW%7CModel%3AZ4&hash=item2ed3591806

Got what I needed from my local a Euro car parts, £23.10 inc vat as opposed to £159.35 + vat from Sytner
