Don't want to clutter forum.. please see here https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=103467&start=210

Peter Van Der Veer do this for any Northern owners. I think M track mode was £40/50 from recollection. They also do other coding and all other BMW specialist work. (No I’m not connected with them
In anyway)

Anybody available in the Surrey area? I'm looking at doing some track days this year, and would love this sorted prior. Seems like a sweet spot for a novice track driver. Beers will be provided!

One of the things I need to ask the guys at ETA Motorsport @ Brands Hatch when mine goes in for a few more tweaks in April

Having just coded in Track-Mode on my Z4MC, I’m available to do that free of charge to fellow forum members. Send me a PM if you need help! I’m in Brentwood, Essex.

ETA cannot offer this at the moment. I’m having my car serviced next week. They did say they are looking to purchase the software though.

lols, the software is free and any bmw specialist would/should have it, what a bizarre response to your question. :?

Agreed. I ask if they could do some coding for me and enable mtm and that was the response I got

It may be possible after 6:30pm but my weekdays are normally very busy and a bit unpredictable. I have a forum member booked for Sunday at 10:30am, do you fancy coming too?

I’m really appreciating the M-track mode for road driving. It allows any amount of wheel spin, so the driver can modulate the wheel spin vs drive on slippery surfaces rather than the over-sensitive traction control cutting power at the first suggestion of loss of traction. Even on dry roads the car gets better drive from stationary than previously. Keeping the safety net of DSC is very reassuring, especially on poor surfaces or roads that are wet in some areas and dry in others.

Gustavo are you ever down a bit further south or central? I'd love it if you could code mine, but I'm never up your way!!! :) Are you doing any bmw shows or Ace Cafe meets this year failing that? :)

Is there anyone in the West Midland/Mid Wales with the capability of enabling M track mode?

Gustavo wasn’t able to get mine to accept coding & it caused issues with srhutch’s DSC pump, so tread carefully

That’s strange, the code change required is minimal. Effectively it’s changing “off” to “on”. It’s not adding additional lines of code, so it shouldn’t have caused an issue with the DSC pump.
