Will this fit a 2006 z4M?

About to buy a z4m vert and the i notice the oem steering wheel is skiny compared to the m3 steering wheel i fitted to my coupe

Weird that you think it is skinny - I find it nice and chunky :?

Not sure that the one you linked to is an actual M steering wheel - don't they all have the tri-coloured stitching ?

The best steering wheel I've tried is the one on a 911 GT3 (partly because it was attached to one hell of a car) but also how simple yet functional it looked with zero buttons and the suede finish.

I'm going to get my Z4 wheel done ala GT3 in suede with no buttons but a little more chunky than stock.

Have to agree with bing, it ain't skinny.

If you get a refurb at Royal as mentioned above, they can thicken it if that's what you're after. I've seen some lovely part alcantara part leather ones they have done, still with the tri colour stitching.
