M Sports Suspension

Just looked on the BMW web site and found that my 2003 Z4R 3 litre has M Sports Suspension from new. What exactly does this mean? What are the differences from standard , if any? What do I need to know if I ever have to repair / replace anything ?

15mm lower than standard, just need to make sure you get the right springs if one snaps. Which they are prone to do on the rear :wink:

It's a firmer suspension setup as well. Less comfortable, but holds the road better and rolls less in the corners

If look closely you'll have a blue paint mark on your spring as opposed to a green mark

IIRC anti-roll bars are slightly larger in diameter also. "Sport" button not on standard model.
