e46 seats fit no problem , get some M3 ones you can pick them up for 2-300 quid

Hi Jamie
Are the e46 seats a straight swap ? And do they alter the sitting position? As I’m keen on swapping, thanks

Yes mate. I did a trial with the seat belt point too an they don't sit any lower or higher

Well after much deliberation, I went for the red and black M sport seats, Thanks to Poster for link. I wasnt sure bout the red quilted section but got seats minus the shipping cost so happy enough. Thought I'd end up spending 400 ish at least by time fitted and made up mounts etc for rx8 or s2000 seats, and these are as BMW intended, although pricey! Pics when fitted....

The red quilted section doesn't look right to me, maybe its because its all one piece instead of segmented ?
I agree - looks a bit gentleman's club wingback chair. Not a fan.
However, I'll probably have a tidy pair of manual, heated black Msports for sale shortly. Let me know if you're intereseted.

For me you really can't beat the look of the proper M Sport seats in the zed aesthetics wise. The S2000 ones look the best of the rest that I've seen fitted, but my main concern would be how high any of these other seats sit. I remember when I fitted my M Sport ones, even those sit a little higher than the SE ones and I certainly would want to go any higher than that.

Sorry for potential hijack, but does anyone know if ISOFIX anchor points were fitted to the M Sport seats, or if they can be retro-fitted, much like they can to the standard seats?

That's why I was trying to decide, but thought worse case can get em dyed if really disliked 🤔

I don't think it's the colour, (just bought some nice red/black Individuals :D ) but the quilting. Reminds me of the Barbour jackets that people are now wearing, even though they've never sat on a horse.
