M Sport seats Will they fit??

Hi,

I've sourced a pair of M sport seats from an 07 coupe but will they fit my 03 car?? My current seats are electric/heated will they "plug n play" or will mods be required?

Has anyone had a pair of these retrimmed or any idea how much it would cost? I've only seen pictures of the seats and the colour looks similar to the beige new england leather in my car but I think the newer seats are more of a light cream colour in the flesh.

Any advice much appreciated

If your seats at present are heated and electric then the new ones will plug straight in. However search for msport seats, and there are several threads about the passenger seat occupancy sensor being adapted to work. But if you want it working properly then the seat ,at has to come out of your seats, and put into the sport seats. Not an easy job, but can be done

Hi Chris,

I've seen the threads about swapping the occupancy mat over and if that's all there is to it great!! I just wasn't sure with the seats being so much newer and from a coupe that there would not be other differences.

You can only really tell when they are in, as the colour does look very similar

Its good you managed to find some! Heated and electric are fairly rare by all accounts

OK I picked the seats up today and as first thought they are much lighter and creamier than my beige new england interior and won't make a good colour combination.

Anyone had any experience of getting them retrimmed??

Yeah they are champagne rather than beige. No experience of retrimming but don't see why it wouldn't be a good idea. Probably easier than trying to get another set of M seats.

That's what I'm thinking.

I don't think I could get as lucky as I did this time. It took 4 days of looking and 2 emails to get the seats (electric/heated) with door cards.

That's a good point! Could very easily replace those parts, as most have black interior so should find loads down the scrappy. It will also help resale, imo.

That's what I'm trying to find out.

I got the seats for a reasonable price and could move on the original leather trims and door cards to re coup some cash.

I will have to call a few places on Monday but would rather use someone that came recomended.

the door cards are only part leather and not as nice as the extended leather fitted so not really an option.

Maldive blue with cream/biege leather was a must when finding my Z!!
