M sport seats dig into inside leg

I just got my 2007 si today. It's in good shape and drives good, but my main complaint is the seat that digs into my right thigh and hip. I'm in America, so that's the leg on the center console side. The leather is worn in that exact spot from the previous owners, who probably also have badly worn right legs and hips; it's that bad. I can't believe the factory would put that seat in like it is and say, "yeah, that's good."
I'm going to have to either pull the seat out and bend the bolster out at that spot, or cut the seam open and pull padding out.

Anyone else had this complaint, and fixed it?

Just wondering, but which seats do you have - Sport or M-Sport?

I've had M-Sport seats for over 5 years and I've never had an issue with comfort.

They're M sport. At least that's what the VIN decoder says the car has.
I think part of the deal is I'm 6 foot 2 inch with longer legs, and move the seat up so I'm not driving like Frankenstein with straight arms. I've never found a car that the steering wheel telescopes enough in.
But, still, it's bad and needs fixing.

Just took it for a drive with the wife and, man, what a blast! Smooth as butter. Pulls pretty good. As much as you can use safely on any back road.

Engine is a peach. I have M Sport seats in the M spookily enough. Always been realy comfy even over several hundred miles. I am 6' 4". Do you have the lip extended right out on the front? I also have the front of the seat as high as it will go, for extra support under my knees. :)

Yes, I pulled the lip out some but I tilt the front of the seat down most of the way. Better on my back I think.
I've had this same problem before in the same spot with a Corbin seat in a Camaro. I took the seat out and applied some serious force to bend it out, and that fixed it.
I don't know how it doesn't bother other people. Maybe it's the way I sit, but I squirm into any position possible and it's still a pain.
