On purchase of my Mc I found the forward and back motion of the back rest wasn't moving although I could hear the motor working. I stripped out the seat today to find to my amazement someones been here before!
How do I know you ask!
Well some how they have removed a cog from inside the gearbox attached to the actuator which hadn't even been screwed back together properly. A real bodge it and scarper type job.
I therefore would ask that if anyone out there has a complete gearbox attached to the actuator then please get in touch and I will be happy to pay.
I have managed to get these details off the existing motor -
CRH 0-1280-01
and photo attached
As far as I can find out from the Web the BMW part number is 52 10 7 112 648 for the Actuator
