M Sport dampers

One of the jobs over winter is to begin refreshing the suspension. As my car has M Sport bouncy bits, I'm wondering what I can use as a replacement. Are B6 okay? Or should I be using B8? Going higher up the fiscal food chain, are Koni's suitable?

Please feel free to suggest other options. Am unsure about coilovers as I'd prefer just to fit and forget, rather than fiddle.

You could just replace with Sachs which is the OEM. Don’t pay BMW prices, but they can be reasonable from the likes of Autodoc.

Thanks. That's handy to know. But having put B4's on my crapper daily Mondeo, I'm after something interesting

B4 with M-Sport springs were a mistake I found so definitely needs B6 or B8, although I think they're stiffer from what I've read. I'd fit Sachs if you want to stay OEM.

If you're after something as an upgrade, the Koni's are a really good step up. Super impressed with mine, think they're just over twice the price of B4's but definitely worth it if you can stretch to that.
