So, as per title I'm thinking of changing my bumpers from the SE ones to M Sport ones. As far as I'm aware I just need to buy the bumper brackets to suit the M Sport bumpers. Is there anything else required to get them fitted? Also, do LCI ones fit a non LCI car ok?

TIA

Andy.

Undertray is different. I bought one from a breakers yard off an e90 (cheap) and cut it up. Modified it to fit my existing under tray and the m bumper.

Undertrays on E89 are same irrespective of bumper

AFAIK brackets are the same…

There’s a myriad of minor details depending on trim and options…

Best look at realoem.com for all the details…there are a lot !

LCI and pre LCI fundamentally identical but again look at trim variants..

Front bumper...
Bumper + 3 lower grills.

Rear bumper...
Bumper with centre section for single or dual exhaust outlets.
2 x side brackets + crash bar

For the front you can either reuse the aero panels (small spoiler in front of the wheels) or buy the M-Sport version. The standard one is a full panel, whereas the M-Sport version is just the spoiler, so allows air towards the wheel arch area. I decided to change mine, I was going to cut it to just leave the spoiler from the original one, but it was damaged.

If I remember correctly if you keep the original under tray one of the bolts doesn't line up, but everything else is fine.

Oh and don't forget the tow eye cover, as it's different

Parts diagram for front..missed yiu are doing rear as well..
