At last, after 1,5 year of searching, thanks to headsup from this forum, I've finally got them!!

M-seats, heated, manual, from RHD 2008 2.0
They came today - at the photos posted on ebay the red looked bright red, whereas it is actually dark red
So after an afternoon of thinking about it, I contacted a company that specializes in lewather refurbishment
They will pick those seat up on saturday, swap the occupancy sensor to the right seat
Correct the foam cushions inside
and dye the dark red leather black, to match the inner section :)

all and all - THANK YOU ALL z4-forum USERS, FOR BEING SO HELPFULL!!
Special thanks goes to peddy and imp75 for answering all my questions regarding seat swaps :D

Congratulations on your purchase, M or sport seats are sooo much nicer than standard seats!

Welcome to the exclusive club of bi-colour M seats 8)

Doesn't sound like they'll be bi-colour for long...

Thanks for all the nice words.
I like the bi-colour combo, but IMO it will not match bright red body colour. I know it was an option in hellrot and if my Z was a coupe I would leave them bi-coloured
But once you open the top the difference in bright red body and dark red leather will not look good.
If you have any photos to prove me wrong please post them here, cause I still cant decide if I want to change the colour..

you're completely right about the clashing of the red.

enjoy the seats! I've the same bi-colour in mine and they're so comfy!

37. Drive me by NeilllP, on Flickr

NeilP - they lookj stuniing with black paintwork, but shocking with red.. especially with all the interior plastics painted in bright red :headbang:

Who would've done that???? and why? :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

And finally an update :

M-seats, after restoration, frame swap and recolouring to the original colour of the center section - it occured that this is not black but dark anthracite leather, morover it's nappa leather :D
As it was easy to update we also fitted ISOFIX system to passanger seat (hgas something to do with baby seats, but don't really know what)

Comparison between oregon black (above) and anthracite nappa (below):

The seat itself:

And a small detail I've decided to leave in red:

The difference between standard and M seats is gigantic - you can feel the car easily, and drive it more spirited way :driving:

Nice! Looks brand new. Didvthey also retighten the leather?

(Sorry for hijacking your thread, just too pleased with the result, though probably not everybody's taste...)

Looks great, never seen anthracite seats so very unique!.. Pics are a little small... But looks as though the old bits in red are a different shade to the centers.

Do you mind me asking what you paid for them? My mint heated electric seats from my Z4MC are still sat in storage and I keep wondering about selling them...

Click on the photo to enlarge it mate. The slim line of red is a great touch. Very subtle and unique - great job!

Aquazi, its only the tumbnail compresion. In real world the bits that used to be red match the old anthracite colour perfectly.

I paid 600quid for the seats, 100 for shipment and around 100-150 for restoration, including restorationa and replacement of some foams.
So the chceapest was restoration.
These were the seats from ebay - seller wanted 750 for those and the door cards, but I didn't want the door cards :)

Mau: I quite like the looks of yours beige seats, but if it would be me I would dye them black (as you can obviously see..) - but if you like it, then it's fine
