M-Seats into a pre-facelift?

Afternoon all,

I have recently purchased some Electric heated M-seats out of I believe a 2006 Coupe and want to fit them in my 2004 Roadster which originally has standard electric memory seats!

Is this a straight swap?

All but you wont have the buttons to turn on the heated seats. If your lucky you might get the panel with buttons from a brakers. They switches are in the same panel as the roof switches.

Depending on date you might be luck to find its all pre wired nice mod :thumbsup:

I don't know,not sure what they are worth as I've not seen one sold on here
 
It's a swap many of us have done, be that ///M or sport, to replace standard.

One extra not to forget is to never turn on the ignition once the loom is disconnected. If you do then you trigger the airbag warning light. Personally I adjust the seat back and forth, remove the bolts, set the seat vertical, then disconnect the battery, then loom.
 
If they are facelift seats then you need to get a passenger occupancy bypass module off eBay as the seat panels are different. Then you need to get the car coded to switch off passenger seat belt reminder, the reason for this is the bypass module makes the car think someone is sitting in the seat to allow the airbag system to work.

Now I'm even more confused.......didn't think,and don't reading anything about getting it coded? :thumbsdown: :headbang:
 
If the sport seats have this module under them it's plug and play
