///M Roadster on PH - less than £11k !

Mmmm great price, very tempting. Don't want to be stuck with two cars though. Anyone want my coupe?

Yep...

Spotted it now......

Thats a well specced car in all honesty...

Just black on black looks gash..

B on B gash :o
Unless on a coupe with alu dash  then it looks mighty fine :P

To re-do the leather seat centres/doorcards is probably a cheaper & in some ways better upgrade/mod than fitting cruise or nav ? or even a set of discs & pads x4
You at least start with the basic black which goes with most other colours then you choose the colour you would have if speccing the car new .
Plus it makes the seats look like new which is always nice
Is it worth missing a great car at a great price ?

Difficult to get a true match with Imola leather and it would lack the M badges in the rear seats - that's why a wrap would be where I would go - imagine it in the frozen blue that E89 was the other week on here

Oh lord. Imola wrap. Heeeeeeeelp me

Its cheap looking at the ad, but is it cheap when you go look at it?? Thats the bones of it. You could get there, see all the little scratches and untidiness and know exactly why its priced the way it is. I walked away from a few cars because of little defects you would never see in an ad.

60k is galactic mileage to the average punter wanting a Z4M. These cars only sell 'easily' under 40k it seems. You need a lot of persuasion to pay that big road tax bill now. The comparrison to 3.0 prices shows that pretty clearly. :(

Could be a great car if you dont mind the miles and in it for the long haul :)

I did - I thought it but did not type it - Adamski has probably already got the quote for Alpine White

To be honest in terms of colour Saphire black was the second most common colour for M Roadsters and a lot must have black leather- from the quick straw poll I'm running 60k looks like a ball park figure rather than being galactic .

Yeah, I think galactic is a bit harsh - I bought my 3.0 with 59k on it, now over 80, and tbh whilst I would love to run an ///M as a third car when I can afford one, it will end up being a daily for me. So it is more important the history is right and I have a long way to go before an inspection 2... which with this would be about 40-45k miles, right ?

You're right about the imperfections that could be evident on seeing it though Dreamer, I guess we'll find out when someone goes to view it :D

As for wrapping it imola red... I couldn't really. Would feel almost as bad as slapping ///M badges on mine :D

I think that's a cracking ///M for the money, and if black on black is a bit dour I bet someone somewhere, given time, has two tone and would like a black interior

When i say 'galactic' miles i say that with total sadness because of course in normal car terms its just not.

But the 3rd car buyer wich dictates a lot of the prices for two seater roadsters means a low miles purchase for an easy resale. I keep an eye on the M market and the 'high' milers sit there a long time. :(

I checked the prices of E89's not long ago :o and WOW they're cheap, also got to have an effect on E86 prices.

Tbh, you're right. Low milers will be even rarer by the time I near one though... :(

As for e89s there are some silly prices around at the moment - 6k miles 35i's for mid twenty k beer tokens is nuts given they must've been £40k new....

Is anyone in London who could take a quick look at the car for me in the next day or two?

Where in london is it? I could possible take a peek?

It's in Clapham. Are you anywhere near to take a look?

Thursday sounds good - thanks!

I've asked him if he's available, and will get the details over to you.

I just reckon it must've been. He's had 7 calls about it, and someone has been today to put a deposit down.

Hopefully it did go to someone on here who can really enjoy it!
