Just black on black looks gash..

That is the only problem I have with it, though it's a big one. The guy just wants rid in case he can make a bit more than the dealer is giving him in part-ex - guess that's why the minimal effort ad.

You sound tempted Bing apart from the black on black.

I was after black with black to begin with because it is "safe colours" but after a bit of searching it seems most people are after something "different" when they look for a Z4 M, albeit any sports/midlife-crisis/man-mathmatical car, even if it is only slightly contrasting.

I agree this is totally true, normally I would never have considered red leather in a million years but in my zed I thought I would take a gamble & to be fair I really liked it, it just seemed right for the car & my mid life crisis! :)

I have to confess, it did catch my eye. Given it appears to have had quite a lot spent on it recently, I could *probably* afford it at that price. Even with red leather though, I'd regret not sticking to the plan and denying myself some imola loveliness :D

One thing I would be worried about is the roof motor - if it has been sat on a street in London and not had drain holes cleared etc. then that's £650 I could do without spending again.

JJ - agree, needs to feel a bit special... Though extended leather, mmmmm...

I may have a buyer for mine - which puts me in a quandry - there's a 3.0 si nice spec - black with champagne leather 40k miles - for just over 10k. xenons, right wheels, looks good

I agree with you guys - an M is better with a red or light interior - but is a lot of car for the money ..... and then there is a cheap Alpina somewhere too .....

decisions decisions

TBH I think the roof motor will be a risk on any car that has had some use.

Is the top of the dash and front part with the climate control all leather too ? Can't tell from the pics. Should have leather roll hoops as well, right ? If it had a red interior I'd be mighty tempted :D

Unfortunately, even with extended leather the top and centre areas of the dash remain plastic :(

Arent all facelift roof motors in a sealed case ??

Also, when i checked the roof drains in my car they were modified and had wider openings than usual..

It may have been fixed already - part of the fix is to drill the holes bigger at the top, and also to remove the rubber stoppers at the bottom of the drain holes. I don't think the motor was sealed in it's case, though the design may have been improved.

Yea..

I have read somewhere that facelifts had sealed motors.... Of course the info could be wrong,i have no personal experience of it..

Hmm, I wanted a Z4MC, but this is very tempting... It's come at the wrong time though.

What's the M3 deal?

Black, good discs ,good tyres,60k ,insp 2 recently done sub £11k :o if there are no issues its a great day for the buyer , Or wait a few weeks to pay £14k AUC
Note also another 1 jumped for the M3 deal  can't fault them for that though

Certainly a good buy,by the looks of it.

Doesn't say if it has DSP, but everything else is there. 59k miles in 6 years is not excessive mileage, but you're right Chris, not even red seats. You don't see extended leather too often though.

Yes,Bing, even has Logic7/dsp hifi option,as u can just see it on the nav screen .......got to be worth considering, given its only done 59k/less than 10k per yr,and if looked after will be ok for many more, and has the relatively rare option of Elect folding mirrors

BARGAIN AT THE £,TBH

Go for it,Bing :D :driving:

I couldn't do it Craig. Imola Red is the only True Path for me :D

I know,Bing,
but this is a really good car(for somebody),with a full spec, and just had the expensive Insp.2 and brakes done(i know brakes are v dear,as mine were needing done when i got mine...so this cars had ,over £1500 recently spent.......
and i had a Black Sapphire 3.0i with Full New England extended lthr in Black, and it looks very nice,imo.....just needs an alu dash to brighten it up tho :D

Going to be a great buy for someone/because,as someone else said,it will get nothing more than a wash and polish and an hr or 2 in the servicebay, then stuck on at 14k

Is anyone in London who could take a quick look at the car for me in the next day or two?

Not planning on being in London this week I'm afraid - am elsewhere, otherwise I'd go have a look. Perhaps inkey$ or stark can help out ?
