M roadster numbers at last!!!!

Well I've had several E -mails from BMW UK and I posted the total numbers of Z4s in their colours on the general thread. They've finally got back to me with the total numbers (they say ) of UK Z4M roadsters sold and their colours....Rare cars these (not like those common M coupes )Especially if you have one in Alpine white?

I can confirm the UK sales figures for the BMW Z4 M 3.2 Roadster as below:

Alpine White - 1
Black Sapphire - 152
Carbon Black - 10
Imola Red - 84
Interlagos Blue - 181
Metallic Midnight Blue - 2
Monaco Blue - 7
Metallic Phoenix Yellow - 2
Metallic Ruby Black - 25
Sepang Bronze - 9
Silver Grey - 89
Space Grey - 1
Titanium Silver - 51
Individual - 3
Total - 617

588 coupes, far rarer I wonder what the 3 individual colours are? Good work on getting the figures.

Quite a few black, would not have guessed that quantity. Also had expected more reds.

Interlagos as expected as it was the launch colour, hence me expecting more red as well.

I think you got that the wrong way around?

Still flimpers comment is a bit off. 588 to 617 hardly makes 'far rarer'

All the scrap yard postings I have seen on this forum so far have been M Coupes.

sammyz, that is great info. I see I have the most common colour again (Sterling 3.0 last time)

Interesting about the white one, it is on an 09 plate and was up for sale at Specialist Cars. I had a decent look at it, was up for £28k in the end with IIRC 800 miles on the clock. in the end I passed because my SLK had lost so much. Was fully specced but had brushed ali interior and not carbon leather, which put me off a bit.

I'm not sure the figures are exact as they seem to differ slightly from the general colours/numbers already provided for all Z4Rs. I expect they have different ways of recalling the data and it will always be liable to human error. Still , seems as though the white one really is a rare car amongst rare cars.

Interesting that one, the ad says "PROFESSIONALLY FINISHED IN BMW ALPINE WHITE WITH A PEARLESCENT FLICK" so I presume that it has been resprayed. Was probably Interlagos before.

that carbon leather is just soooo mmmmm. I lick mine clean (keeps the leather tight)

Taz, not sure what the individual colours are exactly, maybe pink or was that a coupe only colour? Also, these are the figures for M roadsters I've posted the figures for all Z4 roadsters on the general thread a couple of weeks back.
