M roadster gone..

Z4M-2006

Elite
 High Peak,Derbyshire.
Sold the roady.... The new owner gave me good money and signed a cheque last week that cleared on Tuesday.

He came up from Carmanthanshire after work today and arrived at my house at 10.20pm. We did all the paperwork and he had 2 cups of coffee and set off at a 12.10am.. :o

With the roof down and looking resplendent in a stripy blue bob hat.... :driving:

What a man!

I wanted a GTR... But we have put that on the back burner and are having an extension on the house instead, and a new stone stack built ... :x

So......have bought a Z4 3.0si coupe. Its mainly for the wife to drive and commute to work. I take the GSD to work with me,so i rarely drive it,much like the roady....lol..

Friend seen it and wanted it....

He offered me an amount i couldnt refuse,he paid me a cheque and he drove off when it cleared..

Had my eye out for a few things, but a lovely coupe came up so it was a good buy. Looked at a 630i and a SL350 but both werent upto much, and she liked the coupe most.

Well at least your wife has good taste in motors :P
Can only imagine the 3.0 in a 6 series would feel woefully underpowered so if you do get tempted hang out for the V8

Dont want any of the valvetronic V8's,fixed far too many and seen how they cost £00000's...

Dont get me wrong,i do like the coupe......But ideally would have got an M,but not a lot about at the right price..

I know they won't like us now we've gone German! Kev who organises it did say he would let me park with the TVR's in my Zed If I wanted, but I will be happy to park in the normal car park anyway, if the weather is good it's usually a great get together :)

Tell him yours has broken down. He'll nod sympathetically and wave you through :)
It's funny you should say that Stu as my engine blew up on the way to that event in 2009! :headbang: I was then without the car for 9 months & an epic bill to follow...they were the days

Gar you said that you were getting a beetle convertible instead ;-)... It was a very fair price for an excellent car :-)... And well looked after.
