Just noticed how sucky these pics look now that they've been compressed!!! looked a lot better in full size on my computer :headbang:

Front and rear bumpers look ace :)

What's the lowdown - which exhaust, how is it routed, how did they alter the rear bumper to suit the existing lights, underbody pics???

 :D

Very impressive looking rear bumper and quad conversion. Echo Mike's comments and would like to see a photo of the exhaust system (or at least desription)

I am assuming you tapped a second pipe into the left hand back box and hooked up a simple chamber and twind tail pipes on the right (similar to Femme)?

Hi guys, sorry for the delayed reply!!!! Thanks for your comments.

After much thought about getting facelift lights to go with the genuine //M bumper, i decided i prefer my current ones to the facelift. That, plus it was easier to get my bodyshop guy to blend the bumper up to the pre-facelift lights than it would have been to buy new lights front & rear as well as the light module from a facelift.

The stainless steel exhaust system was built by Longlife exhausts in Swansea and is just as u guys thought..... extra pipe tapped off new backbox into twins. It sounds fantastic, very throaty with a deep burble when at low revs. i've got a video clip if anyone knows where i should host it? I'll chuck up a few pics too a little later when i have 5mins spare.

In case anyone noticed.... I still need to mesh out that gap on the rear bumper - gonna get some tight, gloss black stuff....should look hot!

Did longlife cut the bumper for you or was it a new bumper? What engine have you got and is there any loss in performance?

Host the video on you tube and then link to us :)

Please post any other pics you've got!

Hi again, the car is a 2.5 SMG. The exhaust is a full Stainless steel system from the cat back, coupled with the carbon fibre ram air kit & race manifolds the car should be puting out about 215bhp...... sounds like about 400 now though lol

the bumper is a genuine Z4M jobbie and was moulded to fit the pre facelift lights by my bodyshop - i was more than pleased with the results!!!!

The bonnet is the final missing link, so that'll be the next thing on order, along with some black mesh to hide the adjoining exhaust pipe.

PLUS I know i'm asking a lot, but i'd really appreciate it if someone could photoshop my car so that the bonnet, bootlid etc are sapphire black. i also want to follow the lines of the car onto the front and rear bumpers as you may have seen on some of the orange & black schnitzer cars?

It all sounds and looks good! Have you uploaded your videos yet?

So the issue is having to get the M bumper and then make it fit!

It is such a great mod and your car looks so sweet!!

Thanks very much buddy

You could also just get the exhaust shop to cut your standard bumper if you wanna have quads, but don't wanna go all-out with the new bumper and bodyshop time. It'll still look pretty sweet.

what's the current stance on people posting stuff on you tube doing stupid things in cars? aren't the five-o looking for this sort of thing to prosecute the drivers? :headbang:

I doubt they really are! PM me your link if you don't want to post it. I think I might pop in my local longlife! I only live 5mins away :)
