M Performance Skirt Decal

I thought this would have been done to death but a search didn't bring anything back.
It's on my consideration list, depending on cost and ease of application, but does anyone have any decent links for a full side decal like I've photoshopped below?
The OEM decals for the current gen cars are made to fit their skirts so I don't think they'd work, and ebay seems to be loaded with cheap rip offs consisting of mainly just logo stickers.
At first I loved the idea but the more I look at it, I can't decide if it's just ruining the image! :|
 
Pm Byron (Beedub) as he has the ///M Performance side decals IIRC. I think there were some issues fitting it though.

Our friend on the other side of the pond has them as well dubsed I think.

Both on silver cars though. Not sure it's worth it on IB.

i have a set for my F30 3 series which fits the Z4, still debating on fitting them. Think it spoils the lines of the aero side skirts
 
They don't look to bad on silver, but its not working for me on blue :thumbsdown:
 
I like them on Beedub's car, but not on ours (same car without aeroskirts). I'd put the money into Aeroskirts chap!
 
they were a pain in the ass to fit on the aero skirt....
These are the oem f10 m5 decal, cut down and lightly stretched/heated and further wrapped under the sill, considering they were like 130 quid for a stickers i was rather nervous as it took about an an hour n half of measuring/fitting/biting nails but it turned out really really good imo... i stole the idea from a member who did it on his e89 honestly in the flesh it looks ace, really ace..... however I'm not sure its going to look so hot without the black HT in place tying it all in with the black etc... i.e roof down, but give me a week and ill tell you. I was the first one to try on the e8x platform and i think a few more will do it, it would be a breeze on the normal side skirts.

Fwiw the oem decal is 3m with a 10 year guarantee, they are very very good quality., but the thickness of the material makes it difficult to work with, between buying and fitting we are talking nearly 190 quid, which looking back is stupid.
 
Yea, I'm actually finding it really difficult to find a place that sells stuff that I figured would be straight forward. Like aero skirts for example, can I hell find anywhere that sells them... 0 hits on ebay, 0 hits on bmminiparts, I admit it may be me using that website incorrectly but it's never returned a hit for something I need!
But cheers for the info, I think ~£190 is possibly a deal breaker for me when there's loads more important things I want done :thumbsup:

That's my thoughts as other than silver or maybe silver grey they just won't show up. I'm not that keen full stop though as essentially it makes the car look higher off the road than it really is.

Agreed - a dark car on standard suspension runs the risk of looking like an Audi Allroad or Volvo Cross Country :P

I'd think it works in the metal on silver though.
 
Not a fan to be honest - seen similar on to many Non M 120/320 .... i agree it matches Beedubs roof well and the car looks stunning due to the condition .
 
I quite like it on the interlagos not too keen on it on he silver but could just be the pictures as it looks like its missing part of the skirt. Do agree with beedub that it's a lot of money for a sticker. I had to get the for a mates 3 series and to be honest I ezoected them to be more. nice to see them on something other than a 320d (so M performance) in alpine White or Esterol blue.
