Can anybody tell me how much the cable to install multifunction is? And where I might acquire one? I'm assuming this one does not have one.
Also what is the history of this wheel?

To be honest I bought a load of interior bits off a breaker and picked up some extra bits to even out what I paid

I guess a bit of wheeler dealing is all part of the modding process

Stealer will order retrofit cable for you but be warned it's expensive for what it is. I think I paid nearly £15 for mine about 18 months ago and the guy at the parts dept was embarrased about charging me so much for a tiny 6 inch long piece of wire.

Shame about the creases in the leather - has some numpty had one of those pointless eighties style steering wheel locks clamped around it?

Did you buy the retrofit cable? If so does it come with the Scotch Locks? I believe the stealer ones are better quality than the standard ones.

Yep bought mine from the stealers and it came with a couple of little scotchloks, I didn't realise you could source anywhere else tbh. I thought it was buy one from BMW or make one.
 
O i want one of these but don't have the cash at the moment!! Fancy swapping it for a strut brace when i start making them again????
