M market watch

I’ve hardly used mine since I bought it. Part of the original plan was to use it for a road trip in late summer.
However, it now looks like I need to go in for an eye operation next month, and with no driving for a while after, the road trip is out the window.

So, toying with either selling it now, or waiting until next spring. I’m not really bothered either way, but need to decide soon I guess.
 
It’s a white Z4M Coupe with red interior 27k miles.

With hindsight I shouldn’t have bought it, it’s too close to the Cayman I already have. It’s a mistake I’ve actually made before, you would think I should’ve learned from the last time 😁

It looked like such a good buy that I couldn’t resist it, don’t see many low miles in white. I still sometimes wonder if I should just hold onto it, need to decide over the next day or two really.

We did a road trip to LeMans last month, but used the Cayman for that. Next one was to be the Z, but looks like it’s not to be.
 
Not looking too good on the MOT front then!

My second E86 needed the rear brake pipes replaced in 2017 after 3 years of advisories, and I had them replaced on my MC in June for about £300 + VAT.

New rod bearing shells and engine mounts generated a four figure bill in 2020. If it is due an Inspection Service that's another chunky bill, especially if it's an Inspection 2. But even at the top of that guide price it's still a cheap MC - far cheaper than people are wanting for 3.0Sis.
 
I couldn't see the mileage anywhere in the advert so I checked the MOT history and it had done 42K in April, but has never had an advisory.

Never mind the number plate, those AC Schnitzer rear boxes look terrible! At least the originals are included in the sale but it still looks a bit pricey to me.

Interesting car - it's averaging 9700 miles per year and did 17k in 14/15 and then 625 in 20/21 so it's kinda skipped in and out of daily and weekend use looking at the mileage per year.

MOT story read of it not being loved. Nothing awful I suppose but bald tyres, brake lines, etc - just feels a bit.. neglected perhaps.

New rod bearings perhaps £2k? Then vanos, etc - perhaps £4-5k before you've started assuming none of it's been done... but surely it has? 180k miles is a lot even on a Z4 (shocks, brakes, etc) ... Looks like it needs some love. I'd risk £7k on it but shame on the colour (personal choice).
