As for the price, 30k is double what they were when I bought mine in 2013, but as I'm a reasonable fellow, I'm open to very near offers Don't forget, it has a classic patina (read as stone chips) that money just can't buy!

Mind you mine has patina too!

Blue car now gone, did anyone here buy it?
Was seriously interested in this car but being the 9th owner put me off rightly or wrongly and maybe some would of overlooked it.
Some good mods and preventative work done it really did look a decent car and could of been had for 20k with wheels and airbox

Well you'll have to keep looking then! Just bear in mind the UK only got just over 1,200 Z4Ms split roughly 50/50 between Roadsters and Coupes.

My MC had 7 previous keepers when I bought it in 2019 - they do seem to change hands quite often. After all they aren't exactly daily station/daily/tip run cars.

Each to their own, but given that these cars are now between 15 and 17 years old, doesn’t it make sense to buy on condition? I guess if it was a low owner car in a private sale you could make some judgement based on the owner.

Having owned 4 now i know what to look for
And in no rush to find the right example the blue car was so close.

Fair enough, but you do seem to add to the owner count pretty quickly IIRC!

Is there anyone who knows about the red Coupe at Sarah Cox Cars in Newark? Has been advertised for a while, I assume there is a reason?
I think some have viewed so I can only assume all is not what it seems.

My concern also, although it is local.

I notice the price has dropped fairly significantly recently, although still seems perhaps keen for the mileage. I don't think it's had the rod bearings done, either, having spoken to the garage yesterday.

That is a £1500 spend straight away and whilst not certain, there could be other costs when you dig a little deeper.
A lot depends upon your budget and how soon you want to have piece of mind mechanically.

I'm aware of the costs related to that - just curious if anyone on here has had a look at it and whether there is something fundamentally wrong with it! Save me a couple of hours on Saturday

Looks like it might be pretty good. Seats look very tidy for the miles, as does the engine bay, supposedly a good history folder, recent insp2 and it even has all the battery cover clips!

Perhaps a little light on options-No heated seats, rear PDC, tints, folding mirrors or cruise. Can’t tell if it has any tech options beyond the nav but let’s be honest, spec is secondary to condition at this age.

I’m curious how it looks in reality, seems like it could be a cared for car from the pics and ad.

So come on simon, spill the beans.

Looks nice. Great price?
Not mine.

I saw the same car on AutoTrader earlier and I thought it looked like a good one too, especially in that colour combo.

Great price for the condition and mileage. Top colour combo too, that blue and silver grey are my all time favourites.

This one looks a good price for a low mileage MC although I haven't checked MOT history:- https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202309051570962?onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&radius=1500&postcode=gu470za&mode

Bit basic on spec though - doesn't look like it even has rear parking sensors!

My mate told me about this one earlier that is entered inn the H & H auction tomorrow. https://www.handh.co.uk/auction/lot/lot-109---2006-bmw-z4-m-coupe/?lot=58390&so=0&st=&sto=0&au=528&ef=&et=&ic=False&sd=0&pp=48&pn=1&g=1

It would be interesting to know what it makes, but I don't think they publish their results.

Shame they got the production numbers wrong, and while black with black has its fans that would be my least desirable colour combination!
