M market watch

Wow I believe the rest of Europe are going to buy RHD Coupes soon... Now they're half price!

That’s what happened with E30 M3s

My old one: http://www.bmwclassics.co.uk/e30_m3/index.html

Originally a German car…then mine….then ended up in Italy.

Z4M and Alpina are already double the price in Germany compared with the UK !

The UK is the car bargain country again. To import into Germany though you need to factor-in 10% import tax and 19% VAT if the car is coming from the UK. Yet another ‘Brexit Benefit’! :x

I agree…..lowish mileage, looks like V.G condition, most of the big service items have been dealt with, and that interlagos blue just pops in the sun ☀️

Yeah, I thought so too, looks like it's been well cared for and can come with carbon intake and genuine CSL wheels for the right price, which is nice.

Not the best timing for me as I am in the middle of completing a house purchase, but if it's still about in 2-3 months time I will most likely do a buy :D

It does look like a good example in a great colour combination.

You'd better just hope nobody on here snaps it up!

Who knew? Jay Kay from Jamiroquai was a Z4M owner?

Nice maybe, but £41K nice? :o

Agree mate 41k is a joke tbh and you could never drive it.
The car above that at 20500 is a much better proposition but ita had 8 owners already.
Question is how many owners is too many 🤔
Some people are bothered by it some not.

Considering these cars are getting on a bit now, I'd say they are at the point where you'd buy on condition and service history (along with spec of course) more than anything else. Mileage comes secondary to that, and personally, I'd happily buy a 150k mile car that's had proper documented service history compared to a 20k mile garage queen that barely gets driven.

Owners would be the last of my worries, since for a lot of folk out there the Z4MC is probably a tickbox exercise, like a lot of Porsches, hence why the have high owner count pretty early on in their life.

I do get that some people don't like that though and its ok.

I think that isn't unusual for most 2 seaters. People want one but for various reasons they turn out to be impractical. My car had 7 previous keepers when I bought it at 13 years old but the history looked pretty good. :)

13? You must have had a cracking paper round.

If only.

The car was 13 years old - I was much older!

If £41k is too much money and 8 owners doesn’t appeal at £20k, how about splitting the difference with a ‘Jay Kay spec’ ruby black coupe with just 3 owners and 74k miles for £30k? :?

Seems like the sensible choice. I’ll await your PMs :D

Keep waiting!

I've had Ruby Black before and it just looks black in the UK, other than the 3 or 4 days a year when the sun hits it at the right angle! The rest of the time it always needs cleaning.

My 76K mile MC was advertised for half that price in 2019!

He’s a proper BMW enthusiast and has had several M cars, including a rally-spec E30 M3 built by Classic Heroes a few years ago - which he used to take on rallies around Europe etc.

I agree on the colour, but when the stars align its pretty special.

As for the price, 30k is double what they were when I bought mine in 2013, but as I'm a reasonable fellow, I'm open to very near offers  Don't forget, it has a classic patina (read as stone chips) that money just can't buy!
