M market watch

Hi all, I'm in the market for a Z4MR in interlagos blue so keeping my eyes out on the usual platforms, in viewing sold prices I spotted these, is this really the prices they are going for?

https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2006-bmw-z4m-roadster-1

in comparison this seems expensive then:

Just skimmed through the 1st one.

£12.5 k for a a 58000 Mile car is a very good buy IMO

The ones I have seen lately would be around £3k more from a private seller. More from a dealer

I’ve just sold mine. Took 2 days to sell!

Hi Nick, if you're happy to share, can I ask a few details of the car and what was your selling/ad price? Doesn't have to be exact but in the ballpark, it would give me an idea of what the market is actually doing. Please send over a message if better. Many thanks!

Hi all, whats the general consensus on this? Mileage is higher than I would like but it looks good

lovely looking thing, and some nice carbon additions in the cabin.

roof doesnt seem to sit right when lowered... mine sits flush with the body and thus looks alot "neater" stowed.

It's got mismatched wheels which is a bit odd. The front driver's side is a style 359 whereas the rest are all CSL reps. They're similar but definitely not the same. Surprised the seller didn't notice.

Dealer says it has 3 original CSL wheels and one fake, doesn't know why.

Ah I hadn't spotted that, but now compared to others I can see it sits higher. Regarding the wheels, the dealer said three are original CSLs and one is fake, doesn't know why.

My only concern with the odd wheel would be possible previous accident damage, but it is a lovely colour!

Shame it wasn't registered 3 days earlier, then Road Tax wouldn't have been £600 a year.

At 86K I'd be budgeting £1K for new bearing shells unless they've already been done.

The wheels aren't genuine, they are 3 reps and 1 other.

Personally, I wouldn't buy a car with wheel bolts that rusty never mind the odd wheels and roof not sitting right.

If they can't be arsed keeping on top of the simple things it would put me off the rest of the car :(

The roof wouldn’t bother me as I’ve seen quite a few slightly raised.

The front bumper alignment and 1 rep CSL alloy would raise red flags though

The more you look the more is wrong, each tyre looks different, 3rd brake light is wrong, rear 3/4 on nearside looks like its been painted judging by the trim around the door.

You could put a safe bet on it being a crash repair job.

Won't be many at that mileage, so I'll place my bet at £23,500

I see your £23.5k and raise you £24k
Is selling a car on Collecting Cars really giving it full exposure? I seem to recall another z4 going through there 6 or so months ago and didn’t reach people’s expectations.

Mine is similar mileage and We Buy Any Car are offering 25,450. It’s a 2008 rather than a 2006 and I assume they’d reduce the offer a bit when you show up, but still…

Cheers for the various points chaps, dealer said pics are prior to all tyres being replaced and the odd bit of black trim on the passenger side has also been replaced. Even so, clues to how the previous owners treated it.

This looks a nice genuine example

Not the most desirable colour combo. Makes me think that the more desirable colour combos could do a bit better at this milage. Cheapest on AT under 80k.

Twin of mine for sale been on for a while but 1 of 4 in the UK in this combo

Weird that the M badge one side is wonky

This is my old car if anyone has any questions.
I though the colour comb was fantastic.
