Looks a good buy for someone
I tried going to see this when I first started looking. The dealers dad is terminally ill so he’s not doing any viewings due to fear of covid which is understandable. Said he can provide any information requested and then arrange for the car to be delivered once payment is cleared.
So I sent him an email asking him questions about the history etc and at the end I asked if it was possible, when completing the deal if we got that far, if I could collect in person and the deal be subject to there being no faults with the car. I received an email back answering none of my questions & simply saying “I can’t help you any further at this time.” I replied asking why he didn’t provide me with the history of the car and other questions? I said if my suggestion of collecting wasn’t ok, that’s fine, it was only a suggestion, at this early stage.
Got a reply in capital letters this time “I CANT HELP YOU, MY DAD IS DYING”
I sympathise but I took away from this he’s only happy to sell to people who don’t ask any questions or perhaps only people he’s dealt with in the past. Seems to have good reviews online so maybe he’s just going through a tough time but something didn’t feel right about the whole exchange. A car with aero skirts, CSL alloys and a strut brace shouldn’t hang around too long and it’s had 2 price drops already.

wonkydonkey said:[ref]Mos6689[/ref] What an odd experience. "Odd" is to be expected when someone is under what must be crippling stress and sorrow, but I take the point about him still actively listing cars for sale. Perhaps he's still going through the motions of making a living without actually being able to deal with what's required of the job under the circumstances? I met him about six years ago when I viewed and test drove a 350Z. He was great. He pointed out the car's weak points, explained the areas of the car he had had sorted at the bodyshop, and explained aspects that a 350Z novice might not be aware of (e.g. tax bands). Sorry to hear that you haven't been able to investigate his MC.

He won’t do any viewings for the reasons mentioned on the page before this one. Steer clear, somethings not adding up.
An M with that mileage & spec (strut brace & aero sills!!) should not be hanging around for this long at that price. It’s had price drops as well. Ask too many questions & he abruptly “isn’t able to help you any further.”
I do hope I’m wrong and someone gets a great car! My suspicion is it has next to no history. There’s one from Morgan cars with only 49k miles and one owner. Sounds great and interlagos blue, great colour. Then you enquire and it missed its run in service and after that it’s patchy at best. Don’t think you can compromise on a performance cars history.
There’s a great example coming up soon from a forum member, that I nearly pulled the trigger on but it was just too far out for me & the only other one that compared in terms of history, was 30 miles from home. Someone’s going to be very happy with that though once it comes up.

What's your current Z?Nickbmw08 said:Mos6689 said:https
I’ve actually been in contact with mark about the M. It’s actually got really good service history, looks a clean car apart from a few stones chips etc, unfortunately he won’t take my Z as a part x at the moment.
