I’m not sure that the ‘statement M embossed in the headrest’ is true for ALL Ms as my M coupe doesn’t, however my seats are red and black and also have the seams as shown in the photos above and It came like this from new.
If you specified individual leather (ie two tone) you lose the M embossed headrest

Well it looks like I was wrong - again.

I just went and checked my M price list and Bi-Colour seats were a £535 option on the M - which may be why there aren't too many around!

Interesting that they have the extra seam on the bolsters and no M logo on the headrest, which means they are identical to the Bi-Colour seats offered for the non-Ms.
Oh that great German sports car tradition.

Pay more for less.

You didn't get the "///M" in headrest of one colour ind spec trim either :( my 08 ZMR with champagne trim was logo free .

That’s correct. My Z4MC has the champagne leather too and is also logo-free.

Safe to say some very average examples pass through the "Collectingcars" web sales but this one looks a real stunner 8) low miles , loaded with goodies & a great colour combo it will be good to see how the buying market values it come hammer time https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2006-bmw-z4-m-roadster-1

My guess ? £15750-£16750

I read about that one on another forum recently - it seems it began life with an Individual Phoenix Yellow interior!

My guess was £17K, so I'll stick with that.

It does look nice, although some rust is starting to bubble away on the inside of the bootlid.

Might be worth closer inspection and a nose over the service history also

Looks like it has cruise control & power fold mirrors too - a nice pair of desirable extras :driving:

Good luck with the search

At current price levels that one doesn't look dear assuming the service history checks out, especially the Inspection services.

And as well as the options woolybear spotted it has the (shonky) cup-holders! In the unlikely event those wheels are genuine CSLs they are pretty valuable too.

Good luck if you do go for it.

Thanks for the info, will go at the weekend and have a nosey, how can you tell if they are genuine CSL wheels? Doh its gone, just checked on the website, I should of kept it a secret

I think, unless I'm incorrect,- that genuine CSL wheels have letters / numbers, around EVERY centre segment near the centre cap, for example..
If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone might correct me? Whether it's Mr Tidy or mr wilks, for example?

They're not, they should have BMW stamped where I circled red.
