Not bad at all, even with inspection 2 looming.

If all is fundamentally well that could make a great buy if you went in knowing a £2k spend was likely .
All the makings of a great ///M roady

Bit of paint and a service..... It will be right..

It was only serviced 2k ago and next service is oil service "it says".....

Seems a few hundred quid on paint and it will be a cheap low mileage roady..

Z4MC at Sytner. £15.5k if anyone interested.

65k silver MR been up for ages now dropped another £500 this week to £12995 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2007-07-BMW-Z4-3-2-Z4-M-ROADSTER-2D-338-BHP/183215314273?hash=item2aa87bd561:g:VTUAAOSwaaJa2NIh

alu dash won't be helping i suspect

I think it looks ok on the silver, the Zs cabin is so dark and claustrophobic with the hood up and with full black leather that it adds some contrast.

Great looking car with great history for the price.

no expert on m spec.
but am surprised an m would come with alum dash.
seems a very basic option for a car of that calibre.

Depends on taste

Indeed it does & i dont mind it in Si Se Zs but can't imagine any potential M buyer actively seeking it therefore it will not be helping the sale

I might be in the minority here, but I've always thought the aluminium dash was the most premium looking of them all. If i was looking to go to an M, i would be searching for one with an aluminium dash.

to be honest I really like this car, the alu dash looks good to my eyes

Looks like a good example, what are the dash alternatives with those seats, fake wood, fake carbon, more black (albeit glossy)?

I've viewed that car round about October, it was with a dealer in Preston (back street) didn't get good impression, the car looked rough but had just arrived with them that week allegedly. Wheels needed refurbed, paintwork was dull and covered in swirls, seats were grubby!
At the time it was advertised at £16k but they were willing to sell for £15k.
It then turned up at this dealer around December time and price has been dropping gradually, it looks cleaner in the photos but id be looking elswhere!

Edit - didn't bother with test drive!

Nothing you have said there would put me off the car , surprising what a little time & effort can do & providing the fundamentals are as they should be polishing the stone to find a diamond can be very rewarding in many ways

You might have a point but personally I feel the price needs to drop a bit further to reflect the real vale of the car!
At best price £15k when I viewed it I think I made the right decision to walk away!
Hopefully it's better condition mechanically than it looked cosmetically!
Still reasonably low mileage so perhaps worth a gamble for someone!

A rare ZMR at this mileage , does look well & only 1 previous owner / silver grey MR on 20k with a £23500 ask :o strong money without warranty

There will be very few left at 20k< miles, so you can ask strong for it IMO*

Not sure why BMWs suffer so badly with price on mileage compared to porkers.
