is the 'AT priv' based on estimates from current listings? Interesting to see your tracking of the summer/winter prices, i imagine the roady fluctuates more than the coupe - but personally if i was selling yours id be looking for more than 15k ;D

Well everyone now is a good time to be parting with a zed, my px (main dealer) was very fair given the visual mods on my car, need for quite a few consumables in the next few K. I've gone all grown up and bought an F10 M5. Uber beast barge. Very different and back to back the sense of occasion and sensational feedback of the z4m is something that will be sorely missed but my car was just approaching that tipping point where I either spend big this year doing the key maintenance jobs and new discs etc and keep for many years to enjoy that to the full or swap out for something newer and more suited to my current circumstances. I'll post some more details when the car has gone and I've picked up the new girl. Needless to say I'm sad to see the zed go but very excited to be back in a V8, especially something as all conquering as the M5. I still miss my e39 but they are just too old and expensive to run these days and I'd rather have a BMW warranty than any sleepless nights! Details will follow but there's some good haggling to be done if you're not in the mood for private sales (and personally I wouldn't bother given the price I achieved).

I feel like I've been here before, but I may need to sell the Z4MR to buy another house!! I really don't want to, but we really want this new house. We really could do with the money.

I would probably get my dealer friend to sell it on SOR, so dealer sale, 45k miles, 2006 Z4MR, Monaco Blue with light Sepang leather seats and carbon leather dash. Has the extended leather option too, Inspection II done last year. £17,995 sound like a good listing price for a dealer with new MOT, warranty, and with spring around the corner?

I'd say give that price a go, seems sensible....as you say, we are moving into March and who knows what will happen with prices this year.

Seems the milage on so many Z4M’s don’t really align with the general wear of the car? Mine (over 100k) has sometimes less wear on seats/pedals/wheel than cars with 10th the milage out in Europe, Mobile.de etc.
Are the odometer’s ”easily” tampered with? Obviously a lucrative thing to do..
In Sweden every MOT register milage so it’s easily traced back thru the years, not so sure about the rest of Europe?
How’s it in UK?

So what px price did you acheive and what were the details of your M? and which dealer?

Thanks

Can you drop me a PM on the deal you got please, thanks

I think there are quite a few out there with insufficient maintenance/care. Too many are owned for a short period, driven very hard (abused) and then sold on. This is not the sole reason and I don't think that is unique per country though. Plenty in the uk with a lot of wear on the seats.

Prices have remained quite stationary during the winter. Are we expecting another hike come spring?

There was no hike last year & i can't see one this year , minimal number of buyers for many examples that are average & not priced to sell  as ever the decent cars priced well sell no problem

Interestingly (maybe!) I just popped mine into WBAC , it’s an 07 with 24k and Nav with 2 owners. They’re only offering me £11,250 which makes your extra 25k miles significantly good value for money!

Must drive mine more this year

SiRh isnt using WBAC , whilst they are a good indicator across the broad range of everyday cars they are unlikely to be clued up as to where the ZM market is .
A 2 owner 07 24k car would most likely draw £16-17k from professional buyers & retail around £20k (maybe a touch more ) privately you would hope £18k-£19k could be achieved :?

I know, sorry perhaps wasn’t clear in my post. It just surprised me that half the mileage only had a £2k affect on price with their model.

I know I paid a premium for mine at the time with a low mileage, knowing I’d be commuting in it for a while & then added 17k to it, if your pricing is accurate then it’s been the most sensible ‘non-sensible’ purchase I’ve made outside of watches.

Can’t wait for next month when it comes out of the garage! :driving:

I was offered £18k for mine as a trade in at the weekend against an M2 by an independent dealer.

Details as per my signature but with FSH (specialist) and 65k miles.

That doesn't sound enough for a 65k Mcoupe :?

I didn't think that was a bad trade in price. I was only expecting a max of £21k if i sold it privately.

Do you think they low balled me?
