M market watch

My comment wasn't meant as a dig at higher mileage cars but I can see why you thought that from the way I phrased it. More a statement that they get used a lot and tend to change hands more frequently as a result, people get lazy about maintaining them because these aren't cheap to maintain if you are doing 12k plus annual mileage, prices falling attracts less diligent owners etc.

Indeed & ideally for that reason we would all prefer lower owners along with lower miles , both of which are becoming harder to achieve at a £ that is deemed affordable
The cash is better enjoyed in the car than the bank

Good if it is, but I would double check the registration date before purchase.

Extended leather as well. Steering wheel needs sorting and nearside headlamp looks cloudy.

After market tips/back box.

It made the cut by 6 days.

Hi guys, was just after a bit of advice.

I'm trying to sell my z4mc atm. It's been on piston heads for roughly 3 weeks now and despite what I think is a reasonable price, all I've had are silly offers from dealers.

Part of the lack of interest is probably the time of year. I'm also thinking it isn't helping being in Northern Ireland.

My girlfriend is from Wrexham, so I'm thinking leaving it at her house and advertising it from there? I've had no time to use it recently so it just sits in the garage. I'm selling it to raise a deposit to buy a house. Any advice on selling would be much appreciated.

It would help if you gave more info in your listing, service history etc would give buyers more confidence. Not much effort in the description no interior pics. Should have a look at some of the FS threads on here to get a better idea. Have to sell the car and tbh it might be a good car but most will overlook. If the owner can't make a decent listing how bothered has the seller been about the car?

Location will put off the vast majority, not many want to get a plane or ferry to view a car, so bringing it to Wrexham wil help a lot I think.

That aside, I think it's very quiet out there, brexit uncertaintly and rising fuel prices has slowed the market I think.

Your car looks great by the way, nice shots. Maybe a few interior shots and one of the engine bay might help

Haven't updated this for a while.

As always prices from https://www.capconnect.co.uk/ConsumerValues/Ford.aspx?DB=CAR&CH=PWRTZ&New=1

So prices just a little more than 2 years ago with 7K more on the car.

Price , limited info & location are all against you . a pal sold a 83k ZMc in spring of this year which needed very little spend ( a pair of tyres iirc) for a tad over £13k , the season has been down & i see no change in that for another 6 months so if you need it gone then around £14k may see interest

This black ZMr on 85k (dealer ) has been around all summer , steadily dropped to £11495 ( i think from £14k :? ) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-BMW-Z4M-3-2-2dr-/262623782794?hash=item3d2598e78a:g:ZigAAOSw3mpXGise
A squeeze more & a warranty could make it a decent buy if it ticks out on viewing car + paperwork

Pretty light on options, but has heated seats which is all I'd need tbh.

The disparity in MC dealer asking prices based on mileage is madness.

I have no idea what prospective buyers must think when they see a 1.8k miler up for £50k, BMW wanting £28k for a 30k miler, then they see private sellers struggling to shift higher milers at around £15k.

Ive been on the hunt for a while now, I've seen all sorts of prices. Some i consider way too much and others the milage is just too much. I recently looked at the imola red M Coupe near Leeds from a well respected BMW specialist. The car was super clean, bumper been painted prob down to stone chipping, the rest of the car has original paint work. Interior is nice and clean, champagne seats will come up cleaner imho. Silicone spray everywhere though!

Car has done 94k mile, FBMWSH very clean car but I think for 94k miles its too much at £16.5k.

Some of the ones on here are stunning and very well cared for but just not the colours I'm after, the search continues!

[ref]DLT222[/ref], I'm not sure what colours you're after, but if you like the sapphire black coupe with imola/anthracite leather on PH/Autotrader I can certainly vouch for it! 8)
