M market watch

That said, if the owner (or other similar owner) was selling a coupe for £10-11k I'd seriously be trying to buy it! I'm not mileage sensitive though, I know a lot of folk are. I just go on condition and the red one appears quite clean from the advert.

You will need a comfy chair & good selection of books if you plan waiting for a 100k ZMC to come along at £11k or under
I can't remember any at that money online or through the forum
Anything under £12k would ring alarm bells or sell overnight , its a struggle right now to see Mroadys around £11k although ones north of £13k don't appear to be shifting :?

There seems to be a shift to the more fussy owner, i.e. wanting all the toys, low mileage, perfect condition cars rather than any-M-will-do.

Would agree there appears to be a smaller pool of buyers of late which reflects that only the really choice examples are getting interest , miles not always a killer though if price reflective  its the mid miles - mid spec -high priced ones that we see for sale months not weeks

I know mate - thus why I said I'd buy it - as I view it as a good deal/bargain - despite having a Z4MR already.

Happy to see that my car triggered a good discussion here :)

As far as I'm aware, my car is the cheapest Z4 M Coupe on the market at this mileage. (I couldn't find a cheaper one with less miles). Maybe Cat C or D's?

Luckily I'm no need to sell apart from needing the space and a family car for 2017 (the baby is due in January), I have also put my Clio Williams for sale on ebay, so if one of them sells the other will automatically be off the market

Regards,
Gustavo

their was a silver MC 100k miler 1 ones from new that went for 11k i think... i was certainly that region anyway. it sold very quickly and I'm VERY happy that these cars are clearly sought after and even commanding that type of money at that miles.

Looking at those prices, and assuming they sell at or about those numbers, if I did the wheels on mine and sold it right now I reckon I could get back what I paid for it. Which after 2 years is great news. For me - not so much for pvr

Not surprising Bing as you only paid the deposit :P

Done pretty decent myself on my current car though, increases in value more than my pension fund

Nice. The front bumper doesn't sit right, the interior looks a mess... seems strong money!

33k miles with that kind of seat wear.... he must wear sandpaper trousers

I'd buy it for half his asking price and make a track/project car, but I wouldn't touch it as a road car, judging by the condition of it in the photos and lack of knowledge in his description.

Tbf the seller doesn't paint roses around the car , its negatives are freely given .
As for strong money :? not if the current ask prices of equivalent models are to be believed  its half price

Could be a cheap way into ///M ownership if you are handy with spanners/DA etc. If there is documents/invoices for the repairs back in 2009 then 6-7 years later with another 20k on it with one owner should put some minds at rest.

Cleaned the car this morning, less than amused (to be fair the lacquer peel was on the side skirt which I don't think he touched)

Those stones get everywhere .... didn't I spot a couple around the bonnet badge as well?

Seriously - I think I would get the bumper wrapped with 3M to prevent that level.
