M market watch

Remind us what this is showing fella? So, I can buy your car for £9k, Steve? Would sit nicely alongside the Coup. Or I can drive it for 2k miles for £75?

Trade in price from a single source over a period of time. probably meaningless, but a bit of fun.

How much do we realistically think this car is worth then, guys?

From a main dealer, with warranty and assuming service history was excellent I'd have thought someone could pay £15,995 or £16,495, maybe more? Nice colour combination and a good spec too, must be one of the last registered but other private cars out there a little cheaper with less miles.

This has just dropped to £18k. From another post I thought they wouldn't budge from £19k?

Yep, I noticed this too. Will be calling them Monday to see what their position on mine is now.

Haven't even cleaned the engine bay

A few weeks ago I ended up p/x my Z4MC at a BMW dealer. They gave me a price I couldn't turn down and made money on the car from purchasing last year from another BMW dealer.

Quite shocked how much they put it up for though!

Wow, that's just as much "lol" worthy! 76k coupe for £23k?!

Perhaps I call Listers about mine and buy another privately sold Z4M? Could be £1-2k to change hands and drive it to them each time

Point completely taken!
Very unsure although judging by other threads some kind of X1/3 might be faster but it's the pure analogue feel that does it for me. Difficult Q. Good Q too. These cars are about "feel" aren't they? Love the analogue feel on mine. Wouldn't swap it for the world (OK, there are some cars I would swap it for but the list is limited). Within the price range (20k purchase plus some work/mods), difficult to see what replaces it.
Others will disagree and I could look at those cars but it'll take some convincing...

This looks like good value for an M Coupe in the present market? 65k miles for £16,500. I do love the way Coupes look, but now I've got my heated seats and roof down I'd struggle to part with my Roadster, this is tempting though....a bit light on spec, not sure I'd want to fit toasty seats again and have become fond of my Nav.

Pretty lacking in kit - depends on use of the car I guess. The roadster I always see as a weekend toy - take it out when the weather is good etc, so don't need folding mirrors, parking sensors, sat nav, cruise etc. But the Coupe I'd use more as a daily, so would prefer more kit.

So if you get £20k for your zm what would you buy instead then ?... That's why my z'd is still outside smiling at me :-).

That's a great point. 987 Cayman, possibly, but I don't think it would offer the same thrills/exclusivity.

So, to answer your question, I'd have to say a Z4MR in Carbon Black/extended Champagne leather, plus £3k of the finest crack cocaine.
