Hmmm..

So is it listed as Category car or not ?

Nope not registered , can't find the sale post off the clown who bought it slapped , fixed it up then offered here on his first post under the pretence it was his mothers bought as a gift from father but she couldn't get on with the manual box so was selling to get into a auto TT  he was outed pretty swiftly :P

Ahh...

Didnt read the thread....

So,why was it taken off FrO8mee and not repaired under his insurance ?

If the insurance then took it and sold it on as salvage, then its on the register ?

Fr08mee took a settlement, bought back the car and then sold the salvage which was then sold on ebay as a whole car.

THe "clown" then bought and repaired the car which was then offered on here.

Here is what is left of his sales post.

Well every day is a learning day...

I thought if you took a settlement and retained the car,it was a Cat D...As they have paid you out and you retain salvage.

Is this a new one ?

I don't remember seeing a for sale thread for Simons car.

Yes - that forum member mentioned that he never got around to that. The advert is on here.

He may be lucky via ebay & get a buyer who sees the car/price then gets carried away & misses the bonnet but that's a £1500 job to fettle & makes the whole deal a totally different proposition
Should be mentioned in the ad imo as opposed to stating "fully repaired" which it isn't
