M market watch

Was looking at this earlier Pete. Looks rough as hell.

The front bumper looks a different colour and the panel gaps are massive.

Reckon it's taken a whack at some point in its life.

Front bumper is clearly a different shade to the rest of the car.

Sat Nav but no heated seats.

The gaps do tend to look a lot bigger on light colours though IMO. To me it just looks like the drivers side front wing isn't aligned properly, front edge looks too low (pic 18), and the gap by the arch looks to narrow slightly (11 and 19). The bumper has been sprayed the wrong colour and put back on badly too.
 
today the dealer rang me up about this car, if anybody wants a cheap M i think this could be picked up

Sorting a few negatives wouldn't deter me if the price reflected but the lack of stamped history would be a bigger concern as unless significantly cheaper you may as well hang back for one with good paperwork :?
Based upon your findings £11k would be my max based on wanting a Ins2 for peace of mind & the cosmetic stuff so probably £1500/£2000 required :wink:
 
the last service was at Graham Walker in Chester, this was stamped as an oil service at 43133 miles. The service previous was also marked as an oil service
 
I was thinking that you could "assume" that it stopped in the dealer network within the warranty period..

So BMW may have not stamped the book a couple of times.... But a call to supplying dealer may yield a bit of info ?

paying a lot for the lowish mileage I guess.

It has been advertised on Autotrader for at least a month now, along with 2 others from the same dealer and they have recented added a 4th (the 2007) - see link below. They all seem quite expensive IMHO. When I was looking for mine I did email them but didn't get a response. I didn't chase them because I thought they were asking plenty of £££.
