M market watch

Normal market choices resumed  little if any choice of ZMc under £15k after last week seeing 2 great examples around £14k
This seller asking £16k clearly in confident mood describing his car as "prbably the best in price range " , "unmarked silver paint" & "mechanically perfect" http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/bmw/z4m-coupe/bmw-z4-m-coupe----------------2006/4171553

Tit silver is nice..

Be interesting to see if that sells..

There has been a tit silver onefor sale for over 12 months but it's £17k iirc..

There's a white z4mc just come up on ebay, the one that was up for sale in Jersey a few weeks ago.
Think it had black wheels on befor, £19,995.

Strong money for the miles and spec? No PDC, Cruise, piano black trim not CF Leather... OK CSLs but does that command £2-3k over what it's worth?

Are they genuine CSL's? They don't look like they have enough dish on the rear. Look like reps to me although I could be mistaken. It's a dealer so they'll add a premium but even so it looks like they've gone for the old (non-existent) Alpine White price premium. £2k over the odds to these eyes.

Didn't this one sell on ebay at £15500 or very close to just weeks ago ?

Dealer bought it off ebay £14,300 from jersey.
I emailed the owner when it was sold to see if he had to pay vat on it when he bought it back into the uk.
owner said the vat is paid, because he never claimed it back when he moved it to jersey.

Looks cheap at that ££ , not so much at the new ask

that car looks way to clean to be 13.5k...... relatively low miles and only 3 owners....sumet don't smell right!

Aint that the one discussed last week ? Bought & subsquently rejected by srhutch on basis of a late service & some other issues ?
Wouldn't be put off looking though as it could make someone very happy come weekends when the garage door goes up :driving:

this service thing is all a bit daft really, these cars ain't going to drop apart if the service is late or even missed

Within reason perhaps not but some buyers want all boxes ticked when & where they should be & are prepared to pay more for the knowledge that their chosen car has been looked after  (srhutch rejected on void warranty basis)
Doesn't always make for a better car , just one that's had all the boxes ticked  the car could still have been thrashed over speed bumps & revved to the limiter while cold , even ran with low oil :o but at least all the services were done on time ,

Have we all been brain wahed into believing a full service history is a must, i too would not want to buy a car without its full service, i also know it ain't really going to make any difference if its late by 12 months

my car is in for a service on Saturday, its 2 years since its last service, its probably done 5k miles since, being realistic is the oil really going to be that bad?
