M market watch

I thought when it was sold to a trader, it became classed as 'in trade' ie it isn't technically an owner, but allows for the tax to be refunded back to the seller. Must then be driven on trade plates for test drives etc.

1 previous owner says to me '2 owners' whereas 'only 1 owner' is clearly just owned from new. Ignoring the dealer having put the car 'in trade', you cannot be both a previous and a current owner.

Exactly right, the trader won't be logged as an owner, but this is a 2 owner car as per their description.

Miles might be up but its not exactly ott for a main dealer on a ZMC :? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201502030641622/sort/default/model/z4m/channel/cars/usedcars/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/page/2/radius/1501/quicksearch/true/make/bmw/postcode/bb120hr?logcode=p

& a rare low mileage MR at 16k but is it worth £20k with low spec :? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/bmw/z4m-roadster/bmw-z4m-roadster-only-16-000-miles/4214484

plus this one has been up before again low spec but if the ££ investment was dropped & miles kept to weekends it could be a well placed toe in the M water

The low spec 16k one worries me, surely a track toy is the only way to need new discs so quickly?

Seems pricey given the spec

16k and never seen the rain, but needed a new roof motor. :?

Also new pads and discs all round :o

Never seen rain but 3 owners so how can you prove it ?
It's like the old classic "always garaged" ( yea in the 8 months owned but the previous 6 years its been outside :P
Low miles, high miles, private or dealer , always apply due diligence & be wary

Blue one isn't a bad price. Reckon closer to £13k and it's a good buy.

Yep the 1 owner should add appeal , scant details on service but have to assume all stamped as it should be & at 75k mid way to needing Ins2
£12500 should be the target , seller claims bulk of miles done motorway commuting so paint to front end probably required

Exactly, sometimes you need to buy the seller as well as the car.

never understand why its a good selling point to say that, we live in the UK no matter what you try you will get caught in the rain, lets not mention it but erm... doesn't washing the car get it wet! lmao!! Strong money however!

Drove past this one yesterday. Looked quite nice from a distance and these guys are regular stockists of Z4M's.

Yeah looks like Mark old car has sold. They don't seem to hang around long.

Just having a browse and the silver 35i E89 has caught my attention

I like the Parkway Coupe - the two-tone leather is growing on me (so to speak). However, it is very strong money even with that mileage (not that far off mine). And no heated seats?! I like carbon black, too - it's looking for an offer from someone surely...
Stevo

£25k & no pics of the interior  low miles maybe but a very speculative ask
