obviously some copying of text from other Z ads , 
It's not the best system in the world, and is very dated... but it's built in to the car, is always there ready to use, no faffing about sticking something to the windscreen, wires trailing all over the place etc... It's also the only factory way to get a semi-modern interface to the rest of the car's features, without it you're stuck with the LCD on the stereo which is straight out of the 80sZ4M-2006 said:

I just never seen the value of it i guess,not in relation to the rest of the car..

I should add that one big selling point of this black one at £12,995 is that it is one of the few with 'cheap' tax. I checked the reg date from a number of sources and confirmed it was registered about a week before the cut off, so £290 ish a year. I don't believe the seller knows this.

That black one is also missing the advanced speaker system, not sure what the proper option pack was called but there's no subwoofers behind the seats. Most I've seen have had that in the spec.
True, although it does gain more storage in its place. I'm glad mine has the extra speakers (Hi-Fi option), although the bass is too powerful on the standard setting (I must be getting old).
