I havent tried to sell it anywhere but here to be honest.....I would have liked to see it kept on the forum..But I will put it on the usual sales sites soon... I do have a man who wants to see it but he is busy next weekend,so he is getting in touch about arrangine something..

I unexpectedly had the day off work today, and with it being nice i had the Das21 out and machine polished, glazed and sealed the car... finished at 5.50pm..

Does look pretty stunning now, didnt look bad before...

Sounds awesome and good work!
Have been tempted to message you about it and might still do. Just prefer a std car myself, although I appreciate you could return it to std, but in some ways would be a shame to do so as it looks so good.

Aye...

A mornings work would see it standard...

Prefer to sell as is though...someone will buy it when it hits the classifieds.

Or I will keep it another year.. It needs nothing and it still won't in 12 months, apart from tax..

Wonder what it would be worth then??

Wavering - you've got to keep it now else you'll be kicking yourself soon after. In all seriousness, surely if you don't need to sell it, it is worth keeping to see if it does gain any value, or at least holds firm ?

I don't " need " to sell it... But I have never kept cars for a great length of time,a year is unusual..

I like owning and driving different cars, I have done the same since I was 17..

Some cars I have been desperate to sell, some I have enjoyed and would gladly keep longer if need be..

Gladly the M coupe is in the latter catergory

Just as a matter of interest is it because the mods are not OEM or would mine being all OEM put you off to?

CSL's, strut brace, Aero Skirts

Its a shame they didn't bring out better suspension and exhaust etc as an OEM option for the M..

If you want the car to drive and sound better you can't do anything else but go aftermarket :(

An OEM CSL airbox would make it sound better

Looks like the Sepang and Interlagos MC's may have been sold from Sytner? They aren't on Autotrader anymore.

sytner have put the price from 21 up to this now.......

Just not a fan of aftermarket stuff and care less about the looks.19 real CLS's I could probably do, and are lighter than the std wheels, but would be concerned about damaging them and the harsher ride.
Springs only don't have much effect other than lowering an already low enough car (considering clearance of ramps and speed bumps etc). I'd consider something that had a full on spring and damper upgrade to quality stuff though but the BMW items are a good all round setup other than the damn springs breaking.
Exhausts often lose a car power as they're not as optimised as OEM. Cat back probably fine though. I once tried an aftermarket exhaust and within 10k miles it was rattling. I was lucky though as owners who took their cars on track learned that they had a habit of snapping! The only reason I fitted it was because it was a group buy at less than half the cost of a new BMW one - ya get what you pay for :).

Sepang one is still on BMW, Interlagos is gone.

Sepang one has gone from Sytners own website. However I've noticed not all their cars appear on both (BMW.co.uk and Sytner.co.uk)

Updated the figures for this week in http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=62401

looks like its the roadsters that are being priced at almost coupe money ...... coupe factor 1.09 the lowest I've seen ... perhaps the trade has cottoned unto the disparity and the relative low number of cars and tried to move the market.

Great information. Wouldn't it be better put in a spreadsheet with a row for each week and then put up on a shared area somewhere like Dropbox ?

Wonder how much the cost of change would be at Sytner...are they paying decent money for these M's too...or just making big profits?

I think they are carrying about £5-6k between what they paid and what they are asking (before haggling). That's based on what they paid for the car they bought off a guy on here and then what it appeared at on the BMW site.

In other words as soon as you hand the money over you have a 4-5grand loss assuming a 1 grand discount negotiated
Includes 1 year warranty and anything not working probably fixed
