M, M and M

Great pics makes me miss my MC, best car I ever had, I still have the Tuscan but the Z4MC was the best

Those wheels look fantastic - can't think why BMW didn't choose to fit those as standard, especially as they were already kicking around from the M3 CSL / M3 CS parts bin!

Awesome. Thats my mind made up getting CSLs ASAP

Whats on the roof of the grey one, is that painted or wrap or carbon roof ala six speed?

The Silver/Grey car was Dave's aka Rov1. The roof is real carbon and cost him 2k from Evolve. :D

You lucky b@gg"rs -what a lovely brace of z's

Bet there were a few glances yourway with these

How were the roads? Did you get the chance to blow the cobwebs away?

Aye, good run out and good chat. We'll need to arrange a decent longer day out for all the Northeners sometime soon. The more, the merrier.

The exhausts are getting deeper now and starting to bed in. We'll see what difference if any the RPI ram air intake makes when it arrives. Matt's car (you're right it's ex-Dave ROV1) is running Supersprints with the GruppeM and is really deep and quite aggresive and i'm interested to see what difference my set up will make.

Looks like Jamie made a big mistake meeting up with us as he's now on the slippery slope to more mods and less cash!! The man even had his csls arrive before the car did!!

Anyway whoever said they'd like the silver grey car is blind. Mine's the best! Carbon Black rules!

Yeah Athol, thanks to today:

my exhuast is tiny and sounds weak - probably the last mod I will do as I will be fussy about it

car sits too high - Eibach springs you say? I never bothered untill I saw the front. Price sounds rude not too

I want a carbon fibre roof - I love it so much

it needs an induction kit - Gruppe M site payment was down tonight. Saved an impulse buy although I do want one. The exchange rate is getting better so I'm keeping an eye on it.

There's others too Jamie, wait till you see the RPI system. Same principal, not made of carbon. Eibach springs are a must although I believe that there's 2 or 3 other manufacturers if you feel like being different! The Eibach's are good value and as a suspension only expert, i reckoned they were as good as any. Ideally you should get some coilovers from K&W but that would be a few quid more!

I'd be calling BMW and asking where your ipod aux is. I'm pretty sure a 57 car should have it. If not then a decent NavTV install or Carver or DICE would be good!

Give me a call/sms when you next know of a free weekend day and we'll try to put a more structued run together. I think there's a few here that know some good roads and both Matt and I are clueless!

:poke:
Only if you can keep up!

Just playing, there more the merrier. Hopefully our wee run will motivate the others up here to organise something soon.

Yeah I found the RPI site on my travels. I'll hold off for now. Unless the exchage rate gets too good to resist

Coilovers are around £1200 vs £180 for the springs. I'll be looking into it.

Aye I should know in a couple of weeks when I'm off. Alot of overtime with the Open so I'm not turning it down! Help pay for this obsession.

Bound to be some good routes around Loch Lomond or something. Falkirk Wheel would be good for a backdrop too. Early Sunday is a good time to get up and go though.

Jamie, have you got a spare stubby? Mine's a bit long and bending when it's under the cover in the garage.

i'll try and make the next one. But cars getting front end and skirts sprayed so. Could be some time!

CSL's do look fooking good. But at 2k i can't see me getting a set for the next few months. The V6 and Caterham are enough expense at the mo!

great shots tho!
