///M Front Bumper

Up for sale is my Z4M front bumper. It has a couple of deep scratches which are shown in the pictures. You can see these when you are up really close, but at a distant you don't really notice them. The colour is a very dark blue - Midnight Blue. Ideal if you are thinking of getting it re-sprayed to match your own car colour as it would need very minimal sanding and filler to get rid of the scratches. Other than that it's just the usual road stone chips at the bottom. Note that the bumper is one piece and the plastic has not cracked through or broken anywhere. Was bought from here but never had the chance to get round to fitting it. You can arrange your own courier as I still have the secure original packaging. Collection also welcome. Would like £230 for it this is including delivery. Offers are welcome.

Thanks! :thumbsup:

Undertray isn't essential. I haven't run one on mine for a couple of years. Brake ducts are 50 odd quid each from dealers.

I would have said that, but mine decided to tear down the other night on the motorway at motorway (ish) speeds :evil: . It had been fine for years, but the car had recently been in the garage for other work which may have required the under tray to be taken off. One side had torn away from the mounting bolt, leaving the bolt still in place holding on a shard of under tray. The other had no bolt at all, the rear remained attached. I suspect the garage didn't put the mounting bolt back in at all / tightly on one side hence it being missing rather than torn, but it was startling to hear it let go at high speed and end up skimming along with me, still fully attached at the rear. I suspect had I hit a cats eye or such it would have torn it apart in hollywood style explosions :fuelfire: . I managed a temp fix and drove hope sheepishly.

I have since removed and will be ordering the full M under tray. :thumbsup:

I take it the pre-facelift E85 under tray is different....can it be cut or modified to take the M bumper?

THIS EXACT thing happened to me, was fine for ages but then 1 day it came undone at the front and the back 3 fixings pushed it along untill i realised when i got home and turned radio down and heard the scraping :headbang:

has been off for a little while now while i try source a 2nd hand //M tray, dont want to pay £200 to the stealers :headbang: :headbang: :thumbsdown:

Yeah, sorry I forgot to mention that you should take the old undertray off entirely! The previous owner of my car made up a plastic panel to bridge the gap between Z4M bumper and pre-facelift undertray. Worked for a while, then it let go one day when I was having some fun :lol:

I have no undertray on at all now. Certainly not going to pay ridiculous money from the dealer for one.

Do you still have this? Where abouts are you, to see if you close enough for pick up? Do you know if fogs can be fitted?
