finally :P ive been waiting for these since we 1st suggested them :D

im defo after a set as had my bumper off last week and could see just how much damage ive done on mine underneath (looks worse than it is as mine is white lol)
 
:thumbsup: Thanks for the positive interest guys, I am hoping to have the CAD drawing this afternoon so will post it for you all to see what they will look like when cut.

I have added everyone who has stated firm interest to a list on page 1 but if I've missed anyone or anybody else wants a set, post on here and I will add you to the list.

The idea is to make only a few more than those interested or I'll end up losing money as I have to pay for the material and time of the machine. Unless I can think of a work related use for them!!
 
Good effort, look forward to seeing the final product. Mine are a little beaten up, but I plan on replacing the bumper this winter, so would be interested in fitting a pair of these.

If I buy with no intention of fitting there is no issue. :wink:

PVR bought his with the intention to fir, which as you say makes him much much worse.
 
Ok, costed them @ £20 a set delivered. Hopefully payment once ready to post is fine. Will put some pictures up when they're done. PayPal gift preferable.

I'm initially going to make 15 sets so have 4 sets available for anyone else interested.

Jakblade made the template which is a copy of the flippers? he made for his. Not sure how they would look TBH made from steel. You would need to wrap/paint them so may look ok?

This is a picture/link to what his looked like and I think they look ace!!

Here you go fella. Bit dark to take any at mo, plus all my carport lights have gone out for some reason or I would have taken some more.

The intention is to add another section across the underneath of the centre part of bumper but slightly higher than the two outer sections. So it looks a bit like a three piece splitter.

whats the thickness of the steel being used?

I'm not sure if I'm gonna get them sprayed black or carbon wrapped :hairdryer:
 
Put me down for a set please,

i dont have an M front bumper but plan on having one soon so this will come in handy to protect it from day one :)
 
So the first ones you're doing are RPI templates, right ? Personally the flippers don't do it for me, but that's just me ;)
