M factory LSD fitted...

Got my car back off Grinspeed today (Honda specialists but M factory suppliers) after getting its LSD fitted...

What a difference! The car has so much grip now, totally different animal now, foot down and it just pulls you round the corner's.

I can however see the downside, in leaving 11's everywhere and teasing it sideways may cost me in rear tyre costs!

I would fully recommend Grinspeed too, Stevie is a top bloke, offered to work the bank holidays so I could have my car back, and kept me well informed, very professional.

I know they they say they're M-Sport suppliers, but I assume that's Ford's WRC outfit and nothing to do with the BMW factory.

Seconded Steve is a top guy. Mine is sat in my garage waiting for building work to be done so I can fit it.

The diff was £600, and fitting at £300ish, turned out I needed new diff bearings ontop of that.

Totally worthwhile mod though, changed my car completely. Rather than the almost sluggish power you'd get mid corner, with any throttle the car just gets pulled round the corner now.

Grinspeed are at Leyland, about 10minutes from Preston.

Mmm-five, it's M-factory that they supply, not M-sport. M-factory I believe do diff's and gear sets for many cars.
