M Diff Noise?

Hi Forumers,

I recently bought Z4MC and went to a track day, and when the car starts to slide in the gradual long corners, I can hear some clunking noise in the axle. It would do a few clunks then the noise disappears. It happens repeatedly in the same corner. It was loud because I heard it with the helmet on.

Does the LSD or M diff make a noise when it starts locking?

Do you hear the clunks when your car goes over small bumps slowly?

im going to be honest, i havent really heard much noise from mine, but then i havent tracked my yet, i do drive it hard when the times right but like i say havent noticed anythink, the M supplement manual does state the diff and trans make clunks and slight bangs when used in anger!!!

Thanks guys for the replies, there doesn't seem to be any noise on low speed bumps, but I've got another track day in a week's time, we shall see then!
