///M-Car Day 2008

I had a wonderful opportunity to see and meet a whole bunch of ///M Cars and their Owners today. There were a lot of M cars represented, and about a total of 105 M Cars. Amazingly, no Z4M Roadsters made it out... I thought they would outnumber us Coupé owners. :idunno:

Anyway, enjoy!

I would have been there for ya mate ;)

But your on the other side of the country :P

there is a BMW thing going on Oct 4rth in NJ, me and a buddy who has an M coupe are going so at least there will be one of each Zed M there,
And his is Black With Imola leather, Mines obviously Imola with black leather so sort of a Yin/Yang BMW thing going on there lol

^^ Definitely one of my favourite pics too! I actually took an instant liking to the E24 (old 6er), and it was the first time I've seen it in person. I think if I had the extra funds I'd consider snapping up that classic car.

The meet was a 40 minute drive outside of Seattle and was sponsored by a nearby BMW dealership & Detail product shop. Event was organized by the area BMWCCA. :thumbsup:

Yep I'm not so keen on the old ones as much, except maybe the M3, I'd take that. Is tha E92 M3 Imola like yours, seems really bright colour?

There is a Silverstone M3 at the local dealer, looks immense, really cool light silver/blue :sweetheart:

The M3's Melbourne Red is very close in comparison to my Imola Red. The IR is more cherry tinted whereas the MR is a little more orange.

Still quite stunning looking in person, though. :thumbsup:

Nice pictures. What's that in the background? Eeew, a Z3M Coupe. :thumbsdown:

From what I've read on other forums, there were about 20 Z3M Coupes. No M1s, though.

I saw a f'n beautiful cut off my arm and sell it M-6 today while at the dealership today. God if I ever replace the Z I will try to do it with an M6. I don't know what year it was (wasn't brave enough to look) but I did accidentally catch the sticker price....only $116,000 dollars. Meh pocket change FTW!

I don't know how M6's are to drive but if i'm ever rich enough I will own one :wink:

You won't need to be rich. M5 and M6 depreciation makes the Z4M's ugly depreciation curve look like Jessica Alba after a 6-pack, it's so much worse. Horrible gas mileage, brutal maintenance costs, and controversial looks makes for bitter cocktail. And as is usual for the US, sweetheart lease deals within a year of the car's debut helped things along.
