M By-Pass Pipes fitted with Vid :)

Sorry just a bit frustrated, was just shocked by so many negs on it

I put a lot of time into organizing this , and felt bad for you guys who entrusted me / it and decided to purchase some as well, beedub is right my bad.

Ok hands up slightly nobbish girly strop....

Well good thing is I think it sounds awesome and brutal even the 1500-2500 burble is sharper!, and Mrs Paza said it sounded like the 320K 599 Gto at the Tvr show

For the record I think the Roadster boys are going to get the most benefit the most!

Tell you what Paza, I didn't really like the vid either, but mainly cos it didn't live up to it's potential

I think you just took the wrong approach - it may be better for us to hear it as you hear it, so a video of you from the side of the road is not ideal, as we only get bits of it. If she's up for helping you again, stick Mrs Paza in the passenger seat and have her record in there. Then open the window and see if you can get a recording from in the car without too much wind noise. Finally, find a tunnel, put both windows down press record and then hoon it

What'cha reckon ?

I agree with Darren's view on farts - so I reckon opening the window will definitely help...

Bing I got this, but it really hard to make out, the wind noise it really bad quality again

mmmm will get to work on it :sos:

Okay, that sounds MUCH better. The middle where you accelerate off the roundabout is perfect. Just played it to Wee Bing, he approves

He also asked what you had on your face - explained about Mrs Paza's panda phone cover

Didn't mean to offend you mate, we can't all like the same things, I haven't yet heard a better exhaust note than standard, induction is where you make sound enhancement on this car imho.

I will agree that it sounded a lot better in video number 2 though far less tinny.

Agree with daz05 here, but that's purely based on the videos: a video NEVER reflects the true noise of an exhaust - you've really got to see/hear the car in the flesh to get a true indication of the noise. For that reason I still think you've don't a great job Paza3 in having the balls to try out this mod based on little background

Also agree re induction noise, but that's possibly just my personal preference. STILL keep looking at Simota kits for my Z4...

Sounds great  I am am well pleased with mine, find I drive everywhere with the windows down and the heated seats on :D I'm tempted to swap them out for 1inch jobbies as I want it louder  But I'm going to get the induction sorted first and make the call then. I'm hoping the increase induction will be a great balance of rasp from the rear and roar from the front

Ontopic.... the cars sounds perfect imo.....

i loved the sound of my stock exhaust, it was the weight that i wanted to drop...... they are unbelievably heavy... anyone thats had then in hand, you'll know...
Interesting - how much weight do you think you can lose by swapping out the exhaust?

I'm going to measure the 3.0 BB today, Paza your car sounds great and thanks for your efforts to help others

they are insanely heavy.... were talking 18-22lbs heavy, EACH.... i simply could not believe it when i popped them on the scale, by comparison the rpi weight in @ 6.5lbs each.... this is one of the reasons that made me choose that particular pipe, its the lightest setup out their, it only uses a small aero resonator.

ohhhh i LOVE the fact you got your mrs to taake this vid for you, LOL, literally every video i have of my car is from my now ex GF, but lol, i knew it wasnt going well when under her breathe in one of the videos, she said "im f***ing bored out of my brains" LOOOLLL,, i howled when i heard that, now heres your O/H recording in the rain, if i could read her mind shes probably thinking, this guys got me recording the sound of his car in the RAIN and cold.... arhhh freaking awesome OP.....

Funniest thing I've read on here for weeks fella! I often wonder what's going through my GF's head as we drive around car parks for 10 mins at a time looking for a 'decent end spot' etc. She smiles sweetly but I know secretly she just wants to squash my balls for eating into her valuable shopping time. Respect to all the car widows out there!

LOL, the amount of times I hear the word "saddo" come out of my lovely ladies mouth

Anyone know if this would void a warranty! I dont care if it voids the back box warranty but I don't want it to void the whole thing.

Sorry Paza! I always think the M sounds a bit tinny/metallic'y anyway (i know half of you think im mad). If i had a standard exhaust im sure i would jump at this :) .

To give a comparrison my ESS exhaust does appear to sound bassier than this, which god knows could be camera/positioning/moon alignment who knows.

Videos are SO difficult to hear the sound unless you have a good camera.

Guys all coool :)

I think the M its quite "tinny/metallic" as well in fact since the first e46 I thought that almost a characteristic I suppose, we have a small meet on Sunday the 22nd where we can compare standard against it and see people view should be interesting almost forgot what it used to sound like

interesting results, i'd be very interested to see what it tripped on the noise meter.

some of us do like to visit the noise-nazi at oulton every once in a while....
