M bumper wanted - NOW FOUND AND FITTED...

I was looking for a while last year and they were wanting silly money on Ebay that by the time you bought the other bits you were within a £100 of buying a brand new one, then I got lucky and a forum member was selling one he had changed his mind over fitting £50 later it was in the back of the wifes car, it needs a bit a work to bring it back up to scratch but will be going on sometime this year.
I managed to get the lower bolts in the other day when just offering up the bumper out of curiosity, but just reading this thread it does look like they maybe some issues with mating the bumper to the undertray.

Did you get the m under tray??

No, not yet I just offered it up with the standard 04 undertray fitted, I'll see what happens when I finally get it sorted, now where did I leave that lottery ticket.

The standard stray will fit but the M undertray comes in 3 parts, so you'll get a 2 inch gap between the M bumper and undertray

Well its fitted. Taken me and the girlfriends dad about 4hrs today, but that was a leisurely go, checking and double checking everything, as he is a total perfectionist, which isnt a bad thing..

Dont seem to have any problems with noises from the undertray with it being short, but Im still gonna get this sorted. Might just buy an M undertray and have done with it, instead of trying to bodge it with some plastic..

Im really impressed with the look, looks so much meaner from the front now!!!

are you going to get aero skirts?

Not anytime soon... My bank balance needs to recover a bit after this month.. Next major mod will be wheels and maybe suspension... depends how I get on with the lower M bumper on standard sport suspension.

No, next you'll be looking out for the M bonnet to go with. Looks good

Know what you mean about spacing out the mods... also, nice to enjoy one at a time and of course some :driving:

So I wake up this morning to the empty washer bottle sign on the dash... after I filled it up yesterday... Ace!!! :headbang:

And also a carbon fibre rear diffuser.

Why would you say this? I've had to do a search and now I've rang Joe at sopers to see how much they are... This forum is full of bad people that do bad things to your head!!! :|

Yes. I bought one for my E85 after seeing it on Breaker's Z4 coupe. The diffuser is about £250.

Heard back from Joe... this has been discontinued :(

Anyone know of anywhere else to get these from?

Did the washer thing get sorted and any issues with front bumper clearance, I know you said you had sport suspension and wondered if this is the same as the preface M suspension?

Rub my normal bumper sometimes and travel alot by ferry so a little scared of getting the M bumper.
