Collected bits for the new front end this morning and put the new bumper together, am still waiting for the side reflectors as the wrong ones came. You've all seen the how too before so here's just a couple of quick pics though the car looks so much better in the flesh

Nice job. I assume it all went well?

I see your looking for a ticket with that front plate

Went sweet, only took 35 mins in total, as for my plate the real size one was illegal due to spacing anyway so i thought what the hell in for a penny...but now i am thinking of loosing it totally, "sorry officer it must have fallen off" :P

looks nice but the orange indicators ruin the front imo. get clear lights mate, then it'll look 10x better.

Agree totally but there like rocking horse and BMW want best part of £500 each side.

Especially if you want Xenon and silver inners

Looks great! But damn you parked awfully close to the curb. :o And you parked on the wrong side of the street. :poke:

Now prepare to catch the outer edges of the front spoilers on kerbs, etc. :D

Nicely done! I'm glad the conversion went well. Hopefully you get your reflectors issue sorted out. Funny thing about the reflectors is -- according to realoem.com, the standard z4 '06 reflectors have the same part number as the '05 and '06/'07 ///M round reflectors. They apparently don't make any distinction in the diagrams. I had to specify the 'round' ones when I ordered them at the dealer, and luckily they sent the right part.

He's in England -- RHD ;)

The reflectors Roger yeh, i ordered them and when i collected all the other stuff they had the european rectangular ones and the guy had the exact problem you have said, both round and rectangular are the same part number with no obvious way of identifying which, anyway he has ordered some in a way he thinks that round ones will turn up, i wasn't going to wait another week till i put the bumper on for the sake of little holes at each side, kid at christmas comes to mind... :P
