m brake cooling ducts

polishing the m today and noticed looking into the brake cooling inlets in the front spoiler that they are half blanked off inside , do many people remove the remaining bits ? , seem to remember a post about this a while back. thanks

I did it when I first got mine, on the assumption that more was better. Don't know if it worked or made any difference though

If they are half blanked off why didnt BMW fit fog lights like the M3,would like them on mine.

The headlights on the Z are low enough that there's no need for front fog lights

i guess they are half blanked to stop even more water + dust completely coating your tyre tread :?

The plastic splitter thing on my brake ducts get very dirty after a while!
