///M badge part number?

Had a look on real OEM but couldn't find it. I'm looking for the part number for the rear ///M badge.

Mines faded so looking to replace :) .

Perfect, got the right one!!

Thanks very much, not looking forward to getting it on level etc lol.

Any tips???

Park next to another one when you do it, mark where you want the bottom of it to sit with masking tape - you can maybe use a mini spirit level to ensure the tape is level. Make sure the car is sitting on level ground though :P

I guess you could measure up from two points on the base of the boot lid too... Dealers use special templates to place the badges correctly I think.

No idea really, I've only ever taken badges off - just some random ideas

As bing says, masking tape below it before removing. Mark the left and right edges.

...and what was wrong with my suggestion :poke:

Driving around without an M badge, just a bit of masking tape ? Not cool  :D

How much are the genuine m badges? Mine was debadged but I want them lol. Or some sort of custom z4m badge. Think it's a real shame bmw didn't make a proper badge for the car like the m3 and the rest. Instead they used the same badge every man and his dog puts on his 320d :/

Just noticed mine's faded on the side, is this a common problem or am I OCD?

Common for outside parked cars yes. Are both sides the same though?

If you do buy a replacement, get the BMW sticky tape for it as well. It fits perfectly on the emblem and costs next to nothing and no messing with getting it aligned with a general purpose one.

Use a hairdryer to get the old one off, and your fingers to pull whilst you are heating it up.

The ///M badge that goes on the engine is 51148041425 which I don't believe is shown in the link that Bing posted.

I've not paid for mine yet, I got it for about £24ish.

Thats the price for the rear badge?!!!

Wow thats pricey for what it is.

I had to put mine back on when I got my car. Judged it from photo's, the bottom edge is pretty much in line with the horizontal divide in the rear lights.

You can get custom carbon ones
But I think tacky
I like original as I love most main dealers as refuse to sell unless know you have an M car

I hate morons in non Ms with the badge n they look at you for recognition ?!!!
Erm no!

and the whole M performance deal hate hate hate!

Muppet in a blooming 420 d covered in badges
And less power than my van!
Shame on you Bmw
