M badge on my car

Amused to note that about the only place that car doesn't have an ///M badge is the one of the two places that the real M has its badges - on the rear. (It also has the badges on the front wings in front of the indicators, rather than behind).

I particularly like the one on the dash- extra special that one!

You would think Evans Halshaw would spend a few minutes and remove them and stick domw BMW centres on the wheels. Would add value easily.

I'd agree- the car just screams of one that's been mistreated and ragged around. Lose the badges and that side of its history disappears.

I had these - got them from a dealer - but they were forever popping off unless I hammered them into place with a soft mallet. Do yours grip the bolts ok? I think it might be because they are E46 parts and don't quite fit properly.

Small blob of silicone should do the trick :wink:

I tapped mine home and they seem to be holding OK but time will tell.
As srhutch says, I can put a blob of silicone on them if they do pop up.

You're right for the BMW Direct link, but the part number 31312229458 is the correct one.

They are not £3.80 each when I search for them - they are £11.30 each from BMW. The £3.80 piece appears to be the plastic cap inside the tower that's already there :
